There is nothing to be renounced or resisted. Everything can be embraced, but the catch is to cling to nothing. You let it go. You go through life like a knife goes through a done cake, picking up nothing, clinging to nothing, sticking to nothing.
And grounded in that fundamental chastity of your being,
you can then throw yourself out, pour yourself out,
being able to give it all back, even giving back life itself.
Very, very simple.
It only costs everything.
-Cynthia Bourgeault The Wisdom Jesus
I get the sense that your experience there in Blantyre keeps giving you opportunities to pour yourself out, to let go, to cling to nothing...May you experience the freedom in this while also knowing that God is your source of strength when you need to be filled back up and when you need something to hold onto... XOXOXOXO
me and Jess on the long run this morning...
(she is training for the Richland marathon and this was her last long run...
I was the only one who showed up so I just ran the 13 mile loop with her.....
Go team... You were with me in spirit!)
