morning prayer

   Morning Prayer

Morning prayers are best said
in the water, belly up,
facing the rising sun,
and immersed in the
renewing feel of the font
with your ears submerged
so that everything you say
is magnified, flying straight up
to be heard by all the trees
and the mountains
and to be carried away on the wind
by the ravens and the gulls
for the rest of the world.
-Thomas Ryan

I thought the prayer above was simply beautiful...
thinking of you all this morning and giving thanks for you all...

(and some fun smiles from our running crew this morning...
(I loved it when I was running next to Lorissa and she asked, "Does anyone know how Elizabeth Hutchinson is doing?" I love it when I get to have my claim to fame that we consider you all our best friends and I can chime in when someone asks about you....)
