Make us a city of light...

As I was biking home last night around 9:45 after class, I was tired for sure, but I could not help but smile looking out at the Seattle skyline across Lake Union. I thought you would appreciate this little glimpse of home.  Also, I was thinking a lot about light as I was dependent on my bike light and the street lights to keep me safe getting home.  And to keep the theme of light going, this song came to mind below as I was thinking and praying for you all...

Make us a City of Light
Shining through the darkness of night
that the world may see that you are reigning
that the world would know you're always saving
make us a city of light

Now is our time to shine
Let this light be seen
We will not hide what Christ has done for us anymore

Make us a city of light
Shining through the darkness of night
that the world may see that you are reigning
that the world would know you're always saving
make us a city of light

A new day is coming a new song is rising up....

As you move forward,
my prayer is that you will be a light to your neighbors,
a light to those who work for you at the house,
a light to Ben and to Beth as they are getting to know the wildness of life in Blantrye,
a light to those at the hospital,
a light for the boys,
and most of all, a light to each other...
I love you all so much!!
