enthusiasm

look who is shares my wardrobe :)

enthusiasm (n)- c. 1600, from entheos "divinely inspired, possessed by a god,"
from en (in) + theos  (god)

"Divinely inspired... Enthusiasm is a spark-- a reaction to the meeting of the Divine and the true self.  Enthusiasm literally translates as "in God."  Is that not amazing? And it is this enthusiasm that fuels the pilgrim's quest-- from departure, to arrival, to return, and back again.
You see, pilgrimage is not a single journey, but a lifestyle.  It's a daily practice that keeps us engaged in our search for the Sacred, and it is through paying attention and kindling the flame of enthusiasm that we continue our search, especially in the everyday.....
Excitement is no longer a great synonym for enthusiasm although the journey is Sacred, it doesn't mean the task is easy and the road is trial free..."
-Lacy Clark Ellman Pilgrim Principles

So what are you enthusiastic about in these remaining weeks there in Malawi? Where is your spark? Where is your fire? Where do you meet God and come alive?

praying for the you all to encourage the spark in one another in these coming days...
