Such fun to come home last night from my class 

and decorate the kitchen for Anna to walk down to this morning... 

our balloon tradition continues and is standing strong after over a decade of hanging 

these balloons in the middle of the night  

What a way to start the day!! 

here is our new birthday tradition I told you about this morning... COOKIE DOUGH WAFFLES! 

(make cookie dough and make waffle mix first... 

and then put small dollops of the cookie dough 

on top of the waffle batter when you make the waffle.) 

I used oatmeal in the cookie dough and yogurt in the waffle mix so doesn't that totally qualify for a hearty breakfast?! 

heading out the door with a balloon tied to her backpack...
